I made up a meaning for the Canadian flag.

Ok, so since the flag has no meaning, I had to make my own. Here´s the flag in case you somehow forgot it.

So , here´s are the meanings I made up.

  1. The stripes represent the U.S since it´s the country next to Canada.
  2. The white represents Canada since it´s in the middle and there´s a lot of snow there.
  3. The Maple leaf represents the peace of Canada. And red represents pride.

What do you think the flag means since it doesn´t have a meaning? Tell me in the comments below.

O Canada or Oh Canada

  • O Canada is Canada's National anthem.

It goes:

  • English
O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee!
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee!

Things to do near Victoria: Sidney Booktown

Over the years, quiet Sidney-By-the-Sea, about 30 minutes north of Victoria, close to both the airport and BC Ferries, has slowly matured into a pleasant, livable community with a booming, mixed economy that is a pleasure to visit. Sidney is right on the ocean, which makes it a paradise for sailors, kayakers, and people who love to fish. The small, walkable downtown is lined with bistros and interesting shops. There’s an excellent museum, a movie theatre, and the choice of at least 4 Greek restaurants!

Canada’s Only BooktownBesides a mineral museum and new aquarium that has become the hottest draw in town for kids, Sidney has another distinction: it’s Canada’s only booktown. What is a booktown? According to to the Sidney Booktown website:
